Leaving for 6 day trip to south texas this thur. Forecasting rain on at least 2 of those days. I'm looking for arecommendation on a good set of riding goggles that will not let water into my eyes. Texas is a no helmet stateso we have no plans of wearing any. (no lectures please).
I've even considered some kind of snow goggles. I would appreciate any suggestions.
BTW actually we do have a Helmet law here. Supposed to have a sticker from DPS that cost like $5.00. Supposed to send them proof of Health Insurance or MSF course to get one. I don't actually know anyone with the sticker and have never been pulled over for not wearing my helmet.

SC here. A no helmet state and I ride without one so no lecture. That said I used to wear goggles, then sunglasses, 3/4 helmets etc. Only thing I've ever found that works is a full coverage helmet. When I travel distances I take one. Even in a monsoon I can see to ride.
so true edward, i rode for 6 1/2 hours in the pouring rain coming home from new orleans....bad vision, cold weather, and although wearing a rainsuit i was still soaked to the bone....if my wife hadn't been home when i got there i couldn't have gotten off the bike!!! my buddy had to sit on his bike in the garage for 2 hours before he could get himself off his bike!!! yuk! now i kinda know what hypothermia is like!!!!
