Default Recall: voltage regulator
just a quick note. I have an 06 streetglide and i just recieved a call from my dealer about a recall. thought maybe some of you might find this info useful.

I think mrsr71 wants to know the recall #.....? It would be nice if you could post the year and model range it pertains to.

No recall number, he said he just gets notified with vin #'s.

I recieved one also , the dealer has to look at the numbers on the regulator.
Must be a certain run of numbers had a habit of failing prematurely and the dealer will replace , no problem.
It can't be too bad as my regulator has worked pretty well for 7500 miles so far.
Will go check with the dealer soon anyway.

mine quit and was a warranty deal....its a known 06 regulator problem on FL models....b

You should be able to plug your VIN into the HD website and find out if it is an effected model. It's under the Service section of the website.
