Default Is there a way?

Just curious if there is a simple way to tell if something is powder coated rather than painted.

which part are you referring to? usually you can feel the thickness if you digyour nail into it(sounds funny i know) but try it on an unseen area.

Hit it with a ball peen hammer, if it chips and cracks it's not powder coated. [8D]

I bought a pair of Lower fork sliders and it was stated they were powder coated, just wanted to check it out if I can.

I spent 10 years in the paint business and I can tell you the only way to tell for sure would destroy the finish. As long as it doesn't start peeling, I wouldn't worry too much about whether or not it's powder coated.
