2 types one has swivel on the ends formed from plastic stay away use the type that have 2 r metal rods with the swivel on the end of rod.plastic ones dont always stay where ya put em and the others let more air flow when open
who has the lower wind deflectors that go on the lower section of the batwing? I saw the ones at the stealer that open and close. I am wondering if its worth getting the ones that open or are the standard closed ones just as good.
Thanks
I ilke 'em. I had terrible buffeting on my SG, so I added a Cee Baileys SSC windshield, and it was better, but still not good. I then added the fork air baffle, better yet, but still not there. I then added the wind deflectors, and now, with all three, I am finally happy with the wind not beating the **** out of my head at 80mph.
I did not like the standard fixed wings that came on my 07 Ultra after the weather warmed up last Spring. I bought the HD adjustable ones last Summer and love them. They are very simple to install as well. I think the newest ones do not have fixed positions and they may be the ones that won't stay where you put them.
