I have a 2005 Electra Glide Standard, and I am looking at putting a cruise control on the bike. I noticed on the throttle side there is a toggle switch just below the turn signal switch. It has the word monitor on it and it toggles up and down. Is that the cruise control switch, and thus all I would need is the module to hook up to that switch?
That switch probably says "mode" and its for controlling the radio/headunit you don't have on a Standard. The HD cruise kit will come with new right hand switches/harness to replace what you have on the bike now. It will also come with a cruise control "on/off" switch that mounts on the fairing cap/dash.
