NEW SAYING FROM LAST RODE TRIP
ONE of guys was riding one of those funny things think there called hondas. His starter screwed up so we had to push start him half way to montana.
YOU MEET THE NICEST PEOPLE PUSHING A HONDA
That would be the three harley riders who pushed the rice lover
Lets see Mr. Rice which company uses more parts of American origin...hmm...let me think....yup its HONDA....not Harley which sources a bigger and bigger chunk of its parts from oh let me see.....CHINA. Get a grip man. You are riding rice and lots of it.
The Honda GoldWing has the highest percentage of U.S. made parts out of any bike made. That is until next year.
When it get right down to it...Harley has the best of both worlds. They have: 1. The imagethat we rideand ownone of the lastsurviving American made bikes, and yet they have 2. the HUGE financial return by having most componets and clothingoutsourced to China. The only thing different, it seems....bottom line...is the rumble....and as I think about the rumble, I believe it was Porche that helped design a dependable bike so we would keep owning the rumble...

I hear you. I love my Harley but I'm not married to it. I am a big buy American person so any manufacturer that employs a lot of Americans will be on my potential list. The thing I like about Honda is that there are so few problems. Get on the thing and ride. Harley, well lets just say I don't know of too many folks that don't have to tweak the bike to make it ridable. That being said I do ride a Harley, at least at the moment.

Isn't that punishable by up to 10 years and a $5,000 fine?
Hope not - ah do it all the time. Really ticks 'em off when folks gather 'round an' ask questions...especially if they ask why ah no longer ride a Honda....
