I know this has nothing to do with touring HD's, but this is where I post most often, and FORD did make the HD pick up truck(I know it's a streatch). I know this will probably get moved, and then get no traffic, but I am in love with this car. 510 HP! They are only making 100 of them, and the dealer 2 miles up the road has one... I can not see dishing out 65k for a car, well ok, maybe if I had that kinda money. although if I did have the money, I would not pay cash for it. I would invest the money I had, and take a loan for the car and make money...[sm=popcorn.gif]
That's a sezzy car! We have a '06 GT with "only" 300 hp and it's a little rocket, so I can imagine how it would move with 510 ponies.[sm=badbadbad.gif]
Fastest car I ever owned was a 1970 Torino with a 429 Cobra Jet, 4-speed, 4.30 gears,and a shaker scoop. What a monster!
Maybe I can sorta help bring your post back on so it will not be bumped...maybe helprelate your post to a Harley (just kidding). Anyway,I am in Washington state visiting....and guess what?.. a P-51 flew over.... that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up... awesome sound...kinda like a HARLEYdoes everytime I hear one under throttle...510 HP... where was that kinda power when I could afford the gas...or the car.... neither is in my budget anymore.... my Harley is the love of my life in these times of high prices of gas....
Nice lookin car. I always told myself if I could afford a Harley I'd buy a house instead. Well, here I am with a Harley in an apartment. All I need now is 65 g's...and another $100 a week extra for gas I would imagine.
70 1/2 SPLIT NOSE CAMARO WITH 402 BIG BLOCK & M22 SHIFTER. REALLY REGRET SELLING THAT ONE TOO. COULD BARELY AFFORD GAS WHEN I OWNED IT AND IT WAS ONLY .35/GALLON THEN. CAN YOU IMAGINE NOW?????????????
I picked up the retro Stang in 05 still have it with only 6k miles. Love the look and power BUT, canât live with the little or no back seat and very close to the ground. It was fun but looking at a trade-in over the next few weeks. One thing, I will be staying with FORD. Itâs like they say, if you canât afford a Harley buy a Honda and if you canât afford a Ford buy a Chevy.
