i'm a guess , i ride a goldwing, but i have a friend who has a electric glide stander, ok we are fixing to ride across the u.s. his wife wants to get him a C B radio,where we can communcate between each other, with out spending 5-600 or more, can any of u guys help us out,its going to be a surprise to my bud, thanks. p.s. i have the stander honda 40 channel c b, and we're from n.c. too calfi.
Try J&M or Chatterbox. They work radio to radio within a mile or two, but you'll both need it. It's your own private frequency (for the most part) instead of an open CB channel. Good luck.
if it's a temp deal.... Sierra has some "inexpensive" handhelds, that will work well enough... but? spend the money on head sets.... no matter what radio you use HEADSETS will make all the difference
I've gotten J&M's installed on my last 2 bikes, as well as my wife's, friends and neighbors... we use them they're great, and J&M is a delight to deal with ( in my experience)
And they'll cost less than half what Honda or Harley will charge you for an intergrated unit
