I am looking for a good cover for an Ultra with the long(stock) antennas on it. The searches I have done really dont say weither the different covers have a place for the antennas to go thru.
The primary use of the cover would be on trips as I have a garage at home. Just looking for something to keepthebikedry overnight but besmall to pack. I have looked at the HD cover butreally dont want to spend $110 unless its the best option.
Loren,
Check out www.exigentbikecovers.com I bought one for my ultra, very compact to put in bottom of saddle bag. I have the dresser rain cover. It is $79.00 on the internet + shipping. I sold the ultra, cover is almost new, will sell it for $40.00 + shipping. You do have to bend the ant over and velcro to the luggage rack but was never a problem for me. I even bought a new one to fit the Road King I got after the ultra was sold. If you are interested call me at 251-978-3205.
Yes it is when I had the long antennas I just bent them over and put them under the tourpack rack and put the cover over them worked fine and didn't deforme them any...
I have a cover from Target. It was about 30ish. Easy to pack and doesn't take up much space. It doesn't have any holes for the antennas but I just bend them over while putting on the cover.
Guardian Traveler Cover -$20 - Will at least a few years - Comes with little bag and doesn't take up much room. Fold antennas down under it and they prop the back of the cover up. I've done it this way for years and never had a problem.
