NorthsideI love what you have done to your bike
That is what I want to do to my Ultra
The black air cover is a nice touch
What kind of pipes are those?
Here's a pic of my 08 Ultra that I have stripped down and have done this to all my baggers since my 2003 FLHTCI. Detachable TP, Corbin Solo Seat, remove chrome rails from around the bags and I have a nice clean look. I'm 6'3 so I don't need it lowered at all.

Thanks. The pipes are Vance & Hines Big Shot Duals. Mine have the full length heat shields powder coated. V&H sells them now in flat black. Mine are glossy. Contrary to popular wisdom these pipes show really good low end torque numbers and more importantly a great torque curve!
Here are some pics of my Ultra as purchased, and after it's "conversion". I made the tour pack detachable, hid the antenna in the fairing, removed the speaker pods from the tour pack and installed 6.5's in the lowers, swapped the ultra dash for a standard dash, installed a Sony/Biketronics stereo, removed the saddlebag rails and installed "comfort profile" saddlebag guards, removed the front and rear bumpers, replaced the "Ultra" fender badges with 1965 "Electra Glide" badges, and added filler panels between the rear fender and bags.

Does anyone make a tour-pak quick disconnect kit for a 2001 Ultra? I can't find one.
I'm kinda hoping to be able to remove the tour-pak and install a back rest.

Re'
HD offers a tour pack rack and docking hardware. As for the wiring I used weather-pack quick connectors I bought from my local auto parts store. You will need a 3-pin connector for the lights and a 4-pin for your speakers. You will have to use a relocating kit for the antenna, also available from HD.
