Default Headlight Trim Rings

I have read a number of posts complaining about the gap that is difficult to close. When I put mine onI too had an issue with the gap, but worst than that is the whistling noise than they create. Has anyone else experienced this annoying noise and was able to stop it? Its loudest between 25-45 mph.

Try covering the gap with a small piece of chrome tape. That's
what I did and no one has picked up on it,and looks a lot better
than that ugly gap. POS was made in Taiwan.

I have the gap and the whistle, louder pipes seem to quiet the whistle.

Used a small piece of round weather stripping in the gap, stopped the whistling.

Throw away the HD one and buy the Custom Chrome one which is all one piece and looks great! I posted on this awhile back. Why the MOCO can't just make one like it is beyond me. The gap looks like crap, I don't care how close you can adjust it to meet!! Each one has a different tolerance which make some line up closer than others. i have yet to see one that looked like it was not an add-on.

Use the RCC one there is no gap or whistle because it's one piece and just replaces the original.
