most people that frequent the forum have read that i dropped a cylinder and when i disconnected the pcIII the bike ran as advertised. and most have read that i just had a belly full of fuel injection, ecms and all the sh*t that goes with it, so i ripped it all off and changed to a carb and couldnt be happier. but while changing to a carb and getting rid of all the electronics, i found that the pcIII control unit had fallen from the velcro strip supplied by dynojet and it allowed the unit to fall and be eatin by the drive belt. so this may be something for you guys to keep a close eye on. and if all else fails................carb that puppy. oh yea FOR SALE pcIII.....cheap!!

Sorry Mike, but none of your problems were the fault of Harley's fuel injection. You described what was at fault. When you start playing with modification's, beware. I have two with injection and they run perfect. jmo
Mine has been on since 04 and it's running perfect. It's on the right side not the left and it's held on with two zip ties. I'm not worried about it falling out. It's going to go to the dyno in the spring for a custom map and some fine tuning and it will be good to go. Good luck with your ride. fuel injected bikes are way too easy to ride and not have to mess with a choke. I'll stick with the FI
Mine is in place with the velcro and 2 tie wraps plus its on the right side, Been running mine 2 or 3 months so far and have no trouble or complaints what so ever. I love the F.I. and wouldnt go carb'd if you payed me.
