Just got done doing a 3 hole oil cange using Mobil V1 20-50. My bike is a '02 EG. Bike was due for a oil change. Bike ran fine before with no noises. Put in the recommended amouts in all 3holes. Started the bike up and let if warm up. Then droveit about a mile. Came back tocheck fluid levels. Started to here awhineor strange noise that seems to come from the primary. Check engine and trans fluid levels and both are fine. I did notice that when I put the 32 oz in the primary it seem low and hard to see under the clutch. But that is what the manual say to put in. Wondering if any has had this happening to them. I don't want to over fill the primary but maybe it need more. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
RFP, I am sorry but i can't answer your question, but maybe you can answer one for me. I don't understand when people say they are doing an "3 hole oil change" can you explain please?

So are you placing the same fluids in each of these holes? I thought all the 3 holes took different fluids. and what does 20/50 mean.. Sorry if I sound dumb just trying to learn.
Instead of using exactly what the manual says for fill quantity, use it as a guide. It may take more, it may take less, but close to that usually. Fill the primary to what is considered full when you check it. Doubt it is a factor with your noise though, just food for thought.
