I have a 8in. recurve on the ULtra. Good people to deal with, and they will answer all the questions you have over the phone. Try them again you will not be disappointed. But you will have to wait for delivery.

I just bought the 9.5" Smoke Tinted Recurve over the weekend. Received an email yesterday thanking me for the order and told me it would take about 4-6 weeks. I knew that from web site when I ordered it. Its worth the wait, hopefully.
I wanted the 8"but could not wait that long. I had to replace the 12" with an 8" light tint so I could see while driving in fog or rain. I love the 8".No wind on me but the passenger may get a bit. Now that I can see, I may order the clearview and wait on it.
I put the 8" on last night. New pictures soon.
I placed the 8" recurve on my SG in the black and love it. Just went on a 425 mile ride this Sunday and it was great. No buffeting or knocking head around.
Quality is second to none, curved to fit right in with no bending unlike some cheaper ones.
Here's a pic of it on my SG.

Bikeman, did you have a passenger with you? Or CSI Topeka? I need to make sure my baby is comfortable on the back. Not too much wind, just a little. I have to decide what size to order.
My son (teenager) is my usual back seat passenger. Prior to the Clearveiw, his experience was in being the passenger behind a stock HD 12 inch shield, and prior to that, a +2 shield on a Roadking (that one was BIG....).
He can be a complainer at times, but he has NOT complained about the Clearview. I am SURE your back seater will notice a big difference with the 8 incher, as opposed to the little stock shield your bike came with.
GOT MINE FROMSPORT TOURING ACCYS. VERY GOOD CO TO DEAL WITH.. E MAIL THEM... I CALLED TOO EZ TO REACH !.. LONG WAIT FOR MY RG SHIELD LIKE 2 MONTHS.. NICE SHIELD THOUGH!
