GOT MINE FROMSPORT TOURING ACCYS. VERY GOOD CO TO DEAL WITH.. E MAIL THEM... I CALLED TOO EZ TO REACH !.. LONG WAIT FOR MY RG SHIELD LIKE 2 MONTHS.. NICE SHIELD THOUGH!
WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS YELLING BY TYPING YOUR RESPONSES IN CAPS????? SEE HOW ANNOYING IT IS WHEN YOU HAVE TO READ ALL CAPS
Worth the wait. I replaced the stock HD 12 inch shield with a 9.5 in recurve in light smoke, and I love it.
Topeka, can you see over the top? I'm 5'10 and I'm considering
the same windshield.
I am also 5/10"....with the stock shield, it was just at or below my line of sight. I could slouch a bit and look thru it, or get all ostritched up, and look just over it.
With the Clearview, I easily look about 2.5 inches over the top...maybe a bit more.
I have a 9.5 inch dark grey recurve (the anniversary with the dark shield is mine, actually) and I like it a lot. I am 6' even and look at least a couple of inches over the top. My wife likes it - no buffeting. I got mine pretty quickly after I ordered it and the quality is top notch.
That's what i'm talkin' bout! Sounds like just what the doctor
ordered. I'll be going with that 9.5 recurved.
Hope the OL don't catch too much air on the back. She loves
ridin' 2 up with me. Gotta keep momma happy....
Well, sorry to hear about your difficulty in getting a hold of them. I can not say I've had the same experience. Looked at the blems on their siteFriday evening. Left them a msg but it was just after they closed. ComeMonday, John called me back and left two messages. I called him today about mid morning and gotright through.I ordered the shield last night after listening to his messeages and he was happy to answer a couple questionsI had for him today. It's going in the mail today and i expect to have it this time (or earlier) next week. Seems like a good company to me.I hope your luck changes with them. I saytry them againduring their MST bussiness hours.
I ordered an 8" clear with recurve in the late fall , and with our winter , the riding season was over.
That said , I was ready to wait 6-8 weeks for delivery (and I didn't care) but got it in about 4 weeks.
Their products are first class , fit beautiful , nicely formed , and really clear.
I will definitely buy another clearview shield when the time comes to replace mine.
The 8" was about perfect for me , 5'8" stock comfort stitch seat.
The price may seem a bit stiff , but I got what I paid for.

There shields are worth waiting for. I ordered one last fall and the web sight saidit would take 4-6 weeks to get, I got a phone call from them 4 days later saying my shield was on the way.
The guy on the phone said they do runs of shields and Ihad ordered mineat the at an opportone moment.
I puchased a size large clear shield from clearview and it came in 4 days. It was a "blem" that was in stock with the vent allready installed. I would say they are a very good company to deal with. Even though I bought a blem they told me if I don't take off the plastic when I install it I could still send it back after trying it out,
This is my second road glide and all I can say is I wish I had one of theese about 30,000 miles ago.
Wanted to try their recurve. Didn't want to wait 6 weeks.
Bought a 10 custom "blem" (was looking at the 9.5") and received it in 4 days.
The "blem" was a 1/2" scratch left of center at the bottom.
I've had this on for 3 weeks... still can't find the "blem".
As for the "recurve"... it's everything as advertised.
2" lower than my OEM. I'm 6' 2" and now I'm looking over the winshield.
No notable difference in wind at all! Still waiting for the Illinois bugs to come out.
Hope it blows them over too.
I experience a lot less buffeting with my 16" clearview with the recurve and found their quality control to be outstanding. Also had no trouble contacting them on the landline when I had a question.
