I change my oil when I feels like pouring mo money into my bike but can't stand to watch the unspent money flow out. (lol) I also put 50% Helium in my tires to help heat em up quicker for burnouts and allow the front wheel to float at the perfect balance point for wheelies. The Helium also helps soften the landings when it comes back down after 6th gear. No really...
the list goes on....you guys are creating as many problems as your avoiding....jus sayin

You need to develope a feel for what your bike needs for maintainance. At least do that, anything else borders on fanatical. The higher the performance level of your ride the more maintainance it requires.
I change my engine every 3000, primary, and trans. once a year.Primary chain should only need tightened in first 5000 thenwhen you can feel slack when throttling up and down.
Man, I bet that gets expensive..... How much does a new engine cost?.......
