Stage1 Install Question(s)

I am about to install Python True Duals, Python Pipes, Arlen Ness Big Sucker, and V&H FuelPak on a '08 Street Glide. Are there any clamps (additional parts) that I need to buy? What about special tools? Does anyone know what the torque values are for where the pipes connect to the engine?

Might want to get a new set of HD Muffler Clamps - Ya really don't want to use the ones that may come with the Slip-Ons are JUNK...

Make sure you buy new head gaskets, its imperative, dont ask me how I know. Your also going to need "O" ring pliers. Good luck its not that bad of an install.

+1 on the snap ring pliers and gaskets. I don't remember the torque value on the head bolts I think it was listed in the instructions. Its a pretty easy install get an extra set of hands if you can.

Does Sears sell these? Are the "head gaskets" and "o-rings" the same thing? Will my dealer have these in-stock?

About the Big Sucker. I did a loose "mock-up" of the backplate and all hardware for thread quality. I found that when I tightened the bolts that secure theback-plate to the cylinders, the stand-offs for the filter did not line up. I backed the cyl. bolts off and installed the long filter mount bolts and aligned them. Then went back and tightened the large bolts.Other than that, the install went well.
