Just so we can NIP this in the bud, no one will know anything about the 2009 bikes until the dealer show in July. Guess all you want but that will be all you are doing. I know this because I used to work for HD dealer.
I'm not guessing, just wishing that a CVO Streetglide is in the future. I would really consider it if the paint schemes were sweet. I really wish that an all black (nightster-crossbones) style would come out. If not, will have to piece one together.
Ok then, if we are guessing. I have said it before. There will be a blacked out bagger possibly available in colors like the night train, either for 09 production (model) or CVO. A street glide maybe, but it is the hot seller so, do you use this to your advantage and black it out, or do you leave it alone because it sells good and CVO a different model? Here is my prediction, SG or RG called something like a "night glide". Possibly a RK as a "night king" or "king night". Everyone remember the Street stalker kit for the fatboy? Maybe a kit will be available like it, HD is stocking and creating alot of black touring parts and pushing "black is the new chrome" theme in all models but touring! It is our turn.
any 1 heard anything on 2009 CVO bikes?I'd like 2 c a streetglide!
Actually, wasn't the 2004 SEEG sort of the prototype for the Street Glide? I'd be surprised (but pleased) to seea CVO Street Glide next year...maybe in a couple of years. I'm betting the CVO bagger for '09 will be the Road Glide. Also, how about a Wide Glide? They brought the Softail Springer back as a CVO model...
The only CVO for 2009 will be the Harley/Lehman trikes. All other CVO's will be discontinued due to the problems with the 110 engines.
Not to worry though, all of the Harley frames will be stretched out and painted the same color as the bike, black frames will only show up on black bikes. AllHarley's will look like CVO bikes because of the painted frames.
