Default Kits

Hey all Just wondering if you know of any (Canadian, if possible) sites to find a wide tire kit, ( 200-250 mm) for an 04 RK Custom?
Also, is there a lowering kit available? Is there a lower seat than the stock seat, or is it simply easier to take the seat off & have it reupholstered?

Thanks !

DM Customs and Fat Baggers Inc. both
offer wide tire kits for the touring models.

Hi Katie,
I don't know if this will help but the HD dealer in Rocky Mount, N.Carolina was installing just such a kit on a RK Custom when I visited them in October. The kit did not come from NC because he told me where they ordered it from , I just can't remember what he said now. (CRS...Can't rememeber S**t) Give them a call, they were very nice and helpful.

Katie I should have mentioned most are going
to have a 200 bolt on kit. This doesn't require as
much modification as it will to go to a 240-250.

A 240 or 250 is possible but a lot more work
which of course means a lot more money.

The 200 kits from Fat Baggers are about $3500 US
not including a new wheel.

DM Customs kit is $1500 US minus the wheel.
It will only take a 180 but it doesn't require
as much work as the Fat Baggers kit.

Katie,

Just lowered my EG Classic with this kit. Just the rear mind you and leaving the front alone. Like this look better.
