Default DO NOT...

...have your scoot painted at the beginning of the riding season!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Talked to painter last week, he says "I'm shooting to have the frame & swingarm ready for you to pickup next Friday."

Brothertalked to him today, "It'llshould be ready Tuesday after next"

I'll be giving him a ring today to inform him that all my parts are to be ready no later than May 7th. I initially told himI had a small wager (a juicy prime rib dinner)that I'd have it back together on May 1st, so he knew my time constraints. I told him "DON'T cause me to lose my bet."

I'll need a week to get it put back together, then at least a week to "shake it down" so all the nuts & bolts that are going to fall off will have the time to do so. Then I'll be off to Washington DC for Memorial Day.

Good luck with the put back.
Losing the bet will be OK if you get your scoot together right the first time!
New paint means you have to dodge bugs all the way to DC.

Mine could use fresh paint.I plan on gettingmine painted and touched up AFTER riding season. That way I'm not bothered by rock chips and road crud damage and scratches that are bound to occur while out on the road.

I am just having the upper fairing. My dealer was the cheapest in town. The airbrush artist picked it up Wednesday and said it will be back the following Friday. 9 days. Hope it's right. Motorcycle paint should really be done in the Wunter to play it safe.
