I have never in my life ever used a painter that had a project done when he said he was going to have it done. I think they take in too many paint fumes and forget what they are doing.
I don't think I would rush a painter. Let him take his time and do it right.

He will NOT let it go unless it's perfect.
My beef right now...he's had my parts for 5 weeks now...hasn't laid the first coat of primer on it yet.
However, he has quit a bit to do beforehand...install saddlebag extensions, french light boxes in saddlebags, smooth frame welds, smooth tank extensions.
