So I have emailed V&H fuelpak technical support via their website multiple times over multiple months asking them if they have a map setup for the exhaust and intake I want and guess what? They have never returned my email, just curious if anyone else has had any luck. I may have to get off my antisocial butt and actually call them on the telephono! Got my big sucker kit on ebay, I want a fuelpak and am ordering my pipes as soon as I find out if I can use the one I want or If I need to go to my backup plan.
The reason for the fuelpak is because of everyones rave reviews about sustaining really good MPGs and this is my main commuter so I want to keep my 40 - 45 mpgs I am currently getting, especially with gas so damn expensive, deargod treehuggers let us drill of the coast so gas will be $2, F the fish! lol kidding on the fish, I am a diver but oil well rigs are awesome reefs btw.
You sound as bad as my wife. She won't call anyone, always emails everyone. Even when the kids were little, guess who called the doctor when they got sick? You guessed it, yours truely. Pick up that phone man, it won't kill you!
Just call. They will help. But the fuel pak sucks. I had it on my fat boy and it never ran right.
Got the fuel pack on my 08 Ultra and it runs like a dream !!! It's amazing how things work for some and not for others !! Good thing there's a variety to choose from.
I've E-mailed V&H Techs several times over the last little while. I not only got responses from them, but I've gotten all of them inside of an hour. For me, just about 'right away' has been the norm.
I've emailed them several times, never had a problem getting a response. In fact, I am really impressed with their customer service. You may want to check your spam filter or junk email... just a thought.
I have had the same issue with my old bike. I called them and they are more than happy to help. They said that they have the email system up so they can communicate with each other and thought having the support email up would help. However, apparently it doesn't.
From what I understand, they get just as much email about Viagra and male enhancement pumps as the rest of us. They try to filter out the good from the bad, but if you don't have specific key words in the subject line, it most likely goes into their spam folder.
Short answer: call them, their customer service is top notch, you just need to speak with a human being.
quick response time from eric over there. 3 questions on 3 different months.
1st.... "are there 02 bungs on 06 pipes on bigshot duals ?"
2nd...trans bracket part # to use 07 bigshot duals on 06.
the 3rd time, i asked if they had a map for my new fatcat.
