My fourth harley since 1987 but the road glide is by far my favorite. It seems to do everything from dailyP.O. duties to road tripping exceptionally well. Seems like the batwing sells better but I'm sticking with the shark. That's all I got to say about that!
Got mine yesterday,,,only have 30 miles on it,,dang weather,,,I'm smile'in.. Put a short antenna on it from walmart,,didn't work to well,,6 bucks down the crapper. Have to practice with the ABS after I get a few miles on her..

Congrats, you will love it. Ditch the factory screen for aftermarket. If you still have your original whip antenna just take an allen wrench and remove the top set screw holding antenna in and cut it off 18" or so below the ball then reinstall it. The shaft diamater will be a little smaller but it will be fine and it works as well as the original length. Enjoy your bike, Britt
The rubber on both sides of my windshied is coming out, will try the cut method first,,on the shorty for Walmart it would not pic-up the local am station, put stock back on and bamb, there it was,,,funny in looking it does not have the plug in for the battery tender, I thought they all did,,will remove seat and check if its just hidden,,,also didn't know I would get tool roll with it till I got home..
