Bought a band-new '08 FLHTCU. Have 300 miles on it.
I usually downshift through the gears when coming to a stop.
Having a problem finding neutral just before a fullstop.
Will this improve with more miles on the bike?
Thanks in advance for your comments.
I have the same bike, probably has 450 km's now, I've never tried to to put it in N before stopping, are you trying to coast to a stop in N or what, I never have a problem finding N after I'm stopped though
I have heard several folks with the same thing, when you are stopped apply light pressure to the shifter and give it a little throttle, it will ease into nuetral. takes a little practice to do it this way but it works
I only shift to neutral after stopped, and then not too often. In traffic (at stoplights) or even putlling into a parking lot I always keep it in gear until I know I am exactly where I want to be, at lights I'm always in gear to make sure I have a "way out" if needed....don't really have any trouble hitting neutral when I'm ready for it..

"I'm always in gear to make sure I have a "way out" if needed..."
What He said..!!!
But I do the same thing.. trying to hit neutral at the light etc. when coming to a stop or at full stop.. Trouble is now that I took the back shift off it's even worse to hit that Neutral sweet spot..!!!
I just went over 8K on my Glide and finding neutral while moving has become much easier. I played hell getting Neutral for about 4 thousand miles. Then things got better..
