i instaled the hog tunes and ive noticed that when i kill the bike with the kill switch. then go to restart the bike i hear a pop in the speakers also it seems like the tack jumps as well. is this normal ?
Based on your description I would check the following.......
In front of the tank on the brake side of thebike is a wire "strap" that holds wire harnesses and throttle and idle cables to the frame. Its a metal deal covered in a black vinyl material, and is held to the frame using a 5/16" head screw that will also accept a flat head screwdriver. When you remove the screw, you will see a black wire with a green tracer (2 of these wires on Road Glides) with a "ring" connector that grounds that wire to the frame. Please take the screw out and make sure the ground is OK. I suggest taking a nail file or emory board to clean the ring connector itself. This is where the radio and guages get their ground--so the radio popping, and tach jumping make this a suspect thats easily fixed
