Default Higher Winshields

I just wanted to say thanks for the people that posted the info on the link to this, and the recommendations for them.

From reading a lot of posts on this, I e-mailed http://www.fastaire.com/windshields.html this morning from work. They are in Reno and I am in upstate NY, so no one was there when I sent the e-mail on the order. I let them know what I was interested in ordering a new winshield, and asked them to give me a call when they had the chance to complete the order and get my CC info. Around 10:30 - 11:00 they called and took the order.

9 - inch lightly smoked was $26.00. They were offering an additional 8 - inch clear windshield for $13.00 when you order a new windshield, so I said what the heck. $11.00 buck for shipping. Total cost $50.00 for 2 - new windshields. Not a bad deal.

Nice guy, and said that it would even be shipped out today. If anyone else is looking for a higher windshield or just a new one, they are a lot better on price then going to the dealer.

There is a TON of good info on here if you take the time to look around. I have had e-mails and PM's from lots of people on here doing what they can to point me in the right direction for everything. The "Do It Your Self" section is great too. Lots of good opinions, and some that go the other way too.

Hey guys, I've been thinking about getting either a 8 or 9inch windshield for my SG. What company do you think has a better product, Sin City Clcle or Fast Aire? Both are around the same price so I'm more concerned with quality and looks.

I did look at both sites, as both of them were listed when I was looking for the info. I read more people going with Fast Aire, and I liked what I was reading on there web page, so I went with them. If you look on the order side of the site, the guy even lists his personal cell phone for after hours. From him calling me back this morning, and talking with him, I feel like I made the right choice.

2 - windshields for less then half the cost of buying from HD. I even told him that I got his link from here, and he said that he has gotten a lot of orders from people on HD-Forums.

Bob, I'm sure your instincts are correct. I posted a new thread before I read your response. We'll see what happens.

Nothing against the other company mentioned but I sure do love my Fastaire - Just got the 8" from them and will be ordering one or two others - Great service, great packaging and nice sturdy product - three cheers!
