Xzilon Molecular Adhesion.
I just (about 2 weeks ago), bought a 105th anniversary 2008 Road Glide. I had the bike Xziloned before I bought it by the Harley dealership. The dealership told me it would reduce bike washings, resist bird droppings, water spotting, tree sap, brake dust on wheels, oxidation and fading, and blocks UV rays. It is also supposed to protect the leather and vinyl in the same manner. Does anyone have any past experiences with this process on their bike? Does it work and last like I was told it would? Thanks for any feedback. [sm=confused06.gif]

Thanks folks! I knew I could count on the scarcasm of others. Contrary to others beliefs, there are honest businesses out there that provide guaranteedpaint coat protections for motorcycles.I seen them applying it to the bike, but thanks for reminding me the that world is full of smart asses.
Dispatch,
I had the same stuff applied to my new truck when I bought it in 07. Sorry, but I have to agree with the others here, that stuff is worthless. It doesn't last very long, my truck still gets waterspots, and bird crap will still etch your paint if not removed right away.
I have a 5 year warranty that states the company will detail your ride free of charge if the stuff allows any environmental damage to your paint. I detailed it once on their coin, and am about to do it again. My truck is black, so I figured it would help protect the finish. Imo, the Zaino I use is better than that stuff.
Hopefully, you didn't pay a lot (or anything) for the treatment. I'll never go that route again.

Its like undercoating on cars, completely useless and a way for the dealer to make a quick $$.
Sorry, I'm not trying to be a (insert 4 letter word here). My dealer doesn't even mention the stuff because they don't like it/believe it works.

Dude don't be upset, yes we are a bunch of smart asses at least most of us try. But I live in AZ and to protect my bike I park in the shade or I throw a bike cover over it. Wax it and if you want protection from scratch and dings then look at Profinishes product. Enjoy that 08 she looks great.
