Sure but it will cost you, its cheaper to take off than to add. The other thing, can you justify the expense w/ the use, more than likely not. Ask around, how many do actually use those options?
Check around. My son ordered a Ultra a month ago. It is schedueled to be in May 2. The local dealer has a Ultra and 2 screaming eagles. EG standard and a couple of Street Glides and Road glides. About anything you would want. I was told that adding the CB modle was more expensive than the Ultra.
I also think the Ultra has cruise and the lowers as well as the extra rear speakers. Good luck.
I would recommend that if it is important to you to getthe features that come on an Ultra, then buy an Ultra. For me, I would rather buy a bike with the features I wanted as stock than to spent the time,$$$ and effort to add them later. Especially considering the dealer labor cost or the potential to screw something up if you do it yourself. (Saveyour time, $$$ and effort for the mods/accessories you will invariably want.) Just my $.02.
strkye1 has the most reasonable answer. We installed an Ultra type cb/intercom on a Street Glide. It was over $1500.00 when done and that was on an 06. You would be much better off buying the Ultra and taking off as someone said. The SG bikes are expensive because a lot of people like the barely functional low windscreen ,the low profile look that reduces your lean angle and so therefore buy what they initially like rather than the old favorite Ultra. If you must have a SG,then buy the detachable rattling eventually tour pak hard ware ,and the low profile touring shocks a wow you have a st glide for the most part.Bad decision monetarily though trying to equip a Street Glide like an ultra and resale will definitely suffer because now you have neither a Street Glide or an Ultra. NUFF SAID. By the awy I currently have a Black,Black/white ,Copperhead pearl and red hot and a 105th ultra in stock. If you are in the area I am at 334 277-2540. Ask for Mack.THANKS.
