Thanks for the welcome everyone! I traded a '08 Softail Custom that I bought in August and put 3,700 miles on for a '08 Road King Classic in Crimson Red Sunglo. I'm a little disappointed I was only able to put 270 miles on the RK over the weekend. I already like it much more than the Softail. The Road King just feels right. I don't regret the trade one bit.
I've already put HD lowering shocks on it, and got a detachable backrest for the Mrs. Hopefully the backrest won't be on the bike much because I bought the Mrs a 883 Low the same day. Tomorrow I plan on ordering Rinehart True Duals, PCIII, Arlen Ness Big Sucker, and Wild 1 508's. That should get the necessities out of the way. Then it'll be on to tastefully chromin' it out, without goin' overboard.
Here's some pictures I took today when I got home from ridin' in the twisties for a little while. They're not the best pictures, but they're all I have right now. I'll be sure to post some more pictures when I get the other stuff put on.
Here's the Softail Custom I traded in. I traded it on Friday after work, they put it on the floor yesterday, and there's already a hold on the bike. It musta caught someone's eye pretty quick.
