I had my T-rex installed at a custom bike shop. They had to make a few adjustment. Nothing major though and they didnt have to call the manufacturer. In fact they didnt even mention it until I asked. The good news is that I have had Reinharts, vance and hines, screamin eagle pro pipe, screamin eagle slip ons and kerkers on my last two baggers and using Bounty Hunters phrase these pipes "ROCK"!!!!!!!!!!! Best looking and best sounding pipes out of all of them!!! Anyway, what part goes on easily?[sm=happybounce.gif]
I'm just about sold. They are without a doubt the best looking pipes I've seen. Like others, I want that Deeeep sound but not obnoxiously loud. I wish I could hear them...
Can someone please post a pic. of the Left side of a bike with these pipes?
Can you get your side cover off with these big boys installed?
Just gotta reverse the lock washer on the rear bolt for floorboard clearance and slightly trim the bottom push pin on the left side cover. Those were the only two tricks to my install.
Send me an e-mail and I will send you some photos.

I've been watching this thread for a few days, and the conversation is interesting and informative. Was looking at Rinehart true duals but am seriously thinking about these puppies. Are they guaranteed against blueing (assuming the proper air/fuel mixture is achieved). I read that they have the "double wall" so I assume they're covered against blueing?
They are guaranteed against blueing for 1 year minimum. Yes they are double walled too. They do have a very nice sound to them, and you will not sneek up on anyone with them either. And if you have Tunes on you bike, with Hogtune Speakers you will still be able to hear the tunes too!!!

I have no problems removing either side cover with the T-Rexes installed. The left pipe is very close to the inside of the passenger floorboard so your passenger will need to be wary or some shoe melt may occur.
I let my dad ride my motorcycle the other day and when he came back he left it in the driveway. I hopped on wearing shorts and a t-shirt to pull it into the garage. I stood up while straddling the seat and my left thigh touched the pipe where it bends down from under the seat. It hurt like hell, but I guess because of the double wall construction of the pipe, I didn't have a blister or any residual effects after about an hour. It's something to be aware of, but hey, don't ride in shorts anyway.
