I like the yellow Road Kings. You don't see many on the road.
Now what do you suppose the reason for that is???
~John
The reason is, it was a short run on that color in 07. And when harley announced that in 08 the custom was bieng dropped you couldn't find one anywhere.... To all his own, but a black bike is a black bike. Tey are cool, but everybody has one. Go for it you will love it.
If the color on the RKC is a sunglow yellow, I know someone who has that exact bike.
I think the metallic in the paint really looks good in the sun/direct light. His RK tends to take on green/blue tones. I know another person who has a Sportsterin sunglow yellow and for some reason it seems that the metallic on that bike takes on a red tone. They both look good both in the day and at night!
Just wondering what the forum thought of the RK Custom in Pearl Yellow? I've got a chance of one at a good price and although I've not seen the bike yet, on paper it seems a good deal. I've never saw a yellow RK custom except in pictures, always fancied it in black, but this is a one owner , 3k miles bike with stage 1 tune. Needs apes mind you but thats just my opinion. Thanks in advance for your comments.
WellâŚyouâll certainly find enough âapesâ in this forum!
Seriously, the yellow (which Iâll always call Canary) is definitely a rare color.
I always wanted to paint my 1967 Chevelle SS 396 âCanaryâ. Sold it though.
Me? Iâd go for it.
From a âWhite Gold Pearlâ FLHRS owner â Get It!
Love the Road King Custom and yellow runs as good as black. Get it if you want it because they are getting hard to find. I bought my 07 used with 2751 miles and stage 1, mucho chrome and the HD Cyclone $4500 paint job. I could have done without the fancy paint and some of the chrome but I love this bike and I had been looking for an 07 FLHRS so I could not walk away from it. Got a good deal to boot. Go for it.
It's a headturner. Some people want to be looked at, and others don't. If you like it, grab it.
It's a cool bike, and that color looks great in the sun too!
