Going through some problems myself right now. Doc thinks I have a meniscus tear. Just had an MRI today. I will know more next Thursday. Like you I am hoping for minimal downtime. We have a 5 day trip to Rally on the River the first week in June.
Moe, let it heal. I spent 3 months with my leg up, going to physio, doing exercises and stretches...and blew all the treatments by jumping the gun thinking I was good to go. Retore it. Had to go through it all over again, and it was more painful (and frustrating) the second time around.
Spent another few months using crutches, and limped badly for another 6.
Don't rush it, for anything...not worth it in the long run.
Great time to immerse yourself in all those books you've always wanted to read.
Take care Moe.
Well Guys...I went in to see the Doc on Thursday...He decided to do surgery that evening. I am in an immobile brace and will stay this way until my follow-up appointment 5/5. I am in a fair amount of pain right now and taking vicodin and motrin 600. I will keep you guys posted.
