Is there a part number for your PIAA 85/100?

IMHO, during the day, a modulating headlight makes a bigger difference in the awareness by others. They definitely see me.

Osram Bulbs are usually HID or Xenon Bulbs. Could be wrong but it would definitely explain why the bulb is so bright!

If you google PIAA you will find plenty of places to buy PIAA bulbs online, If you are like me and want to order from someplace that you

have actually heard of. Kuryakyn has PIAA bulbs #2210 60w/55w useage = 110w/100w output this bulb has a white light.

#2211 60w/55w = 135w/125w this bulb has bluish purple low beam and super white high beam.

Either bulb is priced at $49.99

These bulbs only draw 60w high beam and 55w low beam (same as stock) and will not damage electrical system or headlamp.

Great deal? Did you notice those $9.99 bulbs have a $17.99 shipping charge and they're not the motorcycle bulbs. The Sylvania H4 ST 65/55 is heavy duty for motorcycles and runs $19 at auto parts stores like Advanced who has them in stock. You need to be careful when substituting bulbs to make sure they're the ones for your application.

Ride well,

Jim

These do improve your night vision. Problem I had was they only lasted about 10 months ( went through 2). I just put the stock bulb back in.
