oil temp unit fittings

ok a quick question.. too lazy to search

what is the fitting i need from the pan to the sending unit??

i got mine at the local ace hardware store and it was less than $2.

+1 for Ace Hardware 3/8" male NPT X 1/8" female NPT bushing.

I went to a local NAPA store without the PN posted by SOOS and the counter guys just had no idea what I was asking for even with the sizes given.

Not knocking NAPA; having the PN is handy though.
