Ok in a hurry and talkin with the wife at the same and i was changin tranny and primary oils.
here is the problem, i put redline heavy shock in the primary and mt 90 in the tranny..will it cause hate and discontent with the tranny/primary? or do i need to swap oils?
No big deal, just drain them back out. And let them sit overnight with the plugs OUT, so that they continue to drain overnight. Next day, fill em up, go for a short ride, drain once more, fill em up, and your good to go. I know, you're going to say thats alot of $$ flushed through the drain hole. And you're right! That's the price you pay for screwing up. It'll be fine, and you'll have some folks, probably on this forum, tell you not to worry about the second drain. Save yourself a lot of $$, and just drain em twice, you'll be glad you did as you ride down the road knowing there isn't going to be any problems. Forty years of riding here, and you're not the only one that's done this. Although most of us catch it after the first screwup, not after two holes filled. Good Luck, and watch what you're doing when you're pourin' stuff into dark holes.
