Default "Indexing" A 2008 Road glide.

Can anyone tell me how I can locate the exhaust valve 'Center' on my 2008 Road Glide, as for indexing the spark plugs? Has anyone done this before? Hints, tips?Any help is appreciated. [sm=confused06.gif]

WTF??
for the .0015 HP gain it will get you on a stock motor, why bother?
Just get out and ride that beautiful bike you have.

Definitely overkill on a stock bike.

Far more work than what it is worth.

Enjoy the ride and don't sweat the small stuff.

Ok. I had read and was told it was simple and easy to do. Iwas also told it would make a 'substantial' diffrerence in power. Your right though, less time in the garage, more time on the road. Thanks. [sm=smiley20.gif]

I guess "substantial is relative. I know a lot of guys who went through this exercise in the old days, the reality is, unless you're trying to shave a thousandth or twooff your quarter mile time, don't waste the effort or the time, lots of riding to do in a short season.

indexing plugs is used in racing applications to shield the flame from being blown out by the intake charge...rarely is it done on a stock NA motor....its done on blown, nitrous, and turbo apps
