I don't think I've ever enjoyed an album more on the bike than I have "Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers Greatest Hits"...They are not my favorite band of all time...but that music just seems perfectly suited to cruising on a HOG.
Choo-Choo just pm'ed me and asked me to respond for him....Barry Manilow's Greatest Hits.
That was funny, I don't care who ya are...He has been MIA for a few days.
I looked in the service manual and did not see a recommendation in the troubleshooting section so I guess I will have to choose one of these....The Electric Joe Satriani-An Anthology, Anything Stevie Ray Vaughn, Def Leppard, George Thorolygood, and when all else fails....Van Halan!
All GREAT choices above! I listened to Omar and the Howlers "Big Delta" CD during Daytona Bike Week this year. Check out "Caveman Rock" !!! BOOM M.F. !!! I also like Allman Brothers Band "Beginnings", Santana "Abraxas", ZZ Top, George Thorougood & The Destroyers, The Outlaws, Steve Earle, Wayne Toups, Keith Frank, Cooder Graw, and many others. I have (2) 400 disk CD players hooked to my office/ shop/home stereo so I can hit "shuffle" and work while it plays.
Sabbath's greatest hits. Not to hijak the thread but I saw Van Halen last night. Eddie is still phenomenal, Alex hasn't missed a beat(pun intended) and that boy Wolfie can freakin' play! There is definetly a father/sonconnection there. You can just tell. Roth is a CLOWN. At times it seemed the audience knew more lyrics than him. At one point in the show he even admitted to it! He said, "I forgot the words...it's too hot in here." Roth sucks, the BOYS on the other hand ROCKED!

Van Halen is a good choice for cruising sounds. Have you seen pictures of Eddie Van Halen lately? He literlly looks lke he dying since he had that hip surgery. I am not a big fan of Van Halen, but I would have to say I'd much rather hear Dave singing than Van-Haggar. By the way, who the hellnames his kid Wolfie? Alot of repeats on the same cd's. That's fine though. Nothing here really jumps out 'at me'. Justan opinion. Like I said earlier, you like what you like.
Mine being an 89, I don't have a CD player. I still listen to cassettes while riding. If I had to choose only one, it would be the one I made out of the first three albums by The Fabulous Thunderbirds: Girls Go Wild, What's The Word and Butt Rockin'.
