So the filter comes with blue oil on it, but the filter itself is not blue?
That's cool since I already have the K&N recharge kit but I assumed the filter was blue and you had to use blue oil.
That saves me $15-$20.

I have Doherty kit on my Fat Boy and it was blue when I got it. When it came time to clean and re-oil, I just used my K&N kit. SDo now it is red instead of blue.

Well since I already have the K&N recharge kit............I'm going to use red oil on the Doherty filter.
What does red & blue make??
