My buddy is looking for a 14" dark smoke windshield for his Road King, like the ones that come on the SE Road Kings.
I had ordered one a while ago when I had my Road King, but I can't remember where I ordered it from. It only cost me like $40 with shipping included..........anyone know?
Check ebay. I bought one on there that bolted to my stock hardware about a year ago. I think it was closer to $80 but I am not sure. It is the best $ I have spent on the bike yet!
I have cut down a shield before but not for my RK. All I did was tape off the top of the shield with painters tape, mark where I wanted to make the cut, used a cutting wheel on my dremmel then sanded and polished the edge withthe dremmel. Works great and the dremmel makes it easy.
I've cut several of them off, very easy to do. Llike Monza said tape it off with masking tape so you won't scratch it up. I cut one just yesterday for a friend of mine. I used a jig saw, on the others I used a band saw but either one will work just fine. after you get it laid out and cut, a belt sander is really handy for finishing the shape , then take some finer sand paper and go around the edge. Took me about half an hour on the one yesterday. Go for it.

I cut mine down yesterday evening and finished it up with the belt sander. Turned out pretty good, the sand paper slipped and I scuffed the windshield a little, but all is well.
