I have 2 bikes. An FXR and and FLHT. Selling the FXR and building a Rigid Pan.

Love having the FLHT for tunes and long hauls. No need for me to make it loud or strip it complely down for cruising. Just leave it set up to eat mile after mile.

The FXR is raked, lowered, breathed on and loud. Love it for Bar to Bar rides. Selling it, cause the Bars are close and I really just want an older Panhead with a Springer to cruise on.

I have three...My first Harley...A 1977 FXS (first year) Low Rider I got in 1982 when I was 20 and wouldn't part with it...I got a new 87 FXLR 10th Anniv. Low Rider and kept that till 97 when I got a 1997 FLSTC (Heritage Classic) which I still have to take it's place...and of course I just picked up an 06 Ultra Classic in Cobalt & Silver...I'm not one of them guys who trades in every couple years...I keep my s#it...I put my personality and signiture into my bikes and after many many many hours of work & money and finally getting it to where you want it to be then trading it I think is totally stupid....

So yeah...having three Harleys (or more then one) makes total sense to me...There's no way I can have only one! My next bike in the next few years will be my last and it'll be a V-ROD which would bring the count to four....sort of a Jay Leno Starter Kit....I didn't care for the V-ROD when it first came out but it has grown on me since then...so that will be my next purchase unless Harley comes out with something in the next few years that blows me away...

IMO...NO it doesn't make sense to have more than 1 bike. But... we do. Hubby has his Heritage, I have my Fatboy and WE have an investment bike ... an aniversary Deuce. The Deuce was Hubby's brainer! He figures it was a good investment and will always get his money back out of it cause he doesn't ride it very often and never travels with it.

What I figure is every year we will always keep insurance on it (which incidentally is over $1400 Cn/YR) just so he can ride it maybe once or twice a summer. Not to mention the interest we paid on the financing. All of which we struggle to pay for. It is a beautiful bike...one of the nicest I have seen, I admit, but P L E A S E! Gimme a break!

Sense... NOPE ... ABSOfreek'inLUTELY NOT!!!! This makes no sense. Just had to have it.

Repeat After Me....

More is better!

There is no substitue for cubic inches... or centimeters.

What this song needs is MORE COWBELL!

I have an SG, an old Yammy XS 650 cafe, and would love to find an old sporty to mess with. Bikes are my golf, liquor, and TV.

I know, I know......If you're a rider, of course it makes sense.

I have a friend that has the same RK classic as I do. He wants to get a Dyna to ride on the days he doesn't feel like riding the RK.
I simply take off my shield.

What do you think?
This is actually a good question. I've been debating this with myself lately also. My bike is nearly paid off and as much as I'd like to have another one, I can only ride one at a time...The wife doesn't ride her own...and my "streeted" electraglide standard has the best of both worlds....touring comfort and enough horsepower to be a blast to ride. I don't really need another one...so I expect I'll buy some other toy next.

Makes plenty of sense to me! I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna pay for a Road King Classic. Or a custom bobber. Or an old bike. Or a.......
