last saturday my dad and i went to check out the 08 white gold street glide..........walked in saw a black pearl glide and had it home by thurs w/ a set of rineharts on it...........that color is awesome in the sun......the salesman took it out in the sun and let the flakes shine.....i was sold....it really looks awesome going down the road.......adds a nice touch to the chrome.
the two best colors in my opinion are the black pearl and the white gold pearl............. we went with black pearl.........
being 22 years old age i think the street glide is the best looking harley they make........well maybe becides my Orange/Black Nightster...but that flhx is an awesome bike!!
Local dealer has one of the white/black pearl Ultras. Not a fan of white but that combo really looks good. Of course I'm a littl partial to black pearl.
And I think 08 had some really good new colors. Crimson Red Sunglo, Candy Red Sunglo, Pacific Blue/Black, Duracell (yeah I like it) are all great colors and combos.
Of course there were some eh to yuks in there too. Copperhead/Red Hot, Golden Glow/Black Glow, Dark Blue Pearl, Crimson Red Denim. No offense to anyone who likes them. That is just my opinion.
Last Nov I was going to order the Pacific Blue/Black and the White/Black pearl just arrived in the showroom. Guess what, I changed my mind, I bought it right away. The White/Black pearl in the sun, it is just beautiful.
I have the Black/White pearl Ultra myself. It is gorgeus in the sun. The colors really start dancing. I do however think that they could have done something a little more stylish with the combo. The design is pretty boring. The black has blue and green flakes in it. As mentioned above the white has a yellow/goldish cast to it. Very nice.
An additional benefit is the amusment factor. When people are running through stop signs and see you coming they often hit the brakes so hard thinking you are a cop that they send themselves and passengers face first into the dashboard. On the flip side of that, you will find yourself slowing in the fast lane often with cars in front of you slowing quickly thinking you are a LEO. Not that I speed, but I find myself going around people often.

Tinman,
Iguess the color/cop issue depends on location. Out here in So. Cal. most are some variation of white and black. I have seen the white/blue in my travels also.
The Red/Red was my second choice but my wife didn't like the Crimson in the combo so we opted for the B/W.
