I had a Gold Wing when I bought my Street Glide. They are a Great touring bike. Everything you need to be comfortable for many miles a day. As was said above, it just did not have the "powers" a HD does. But you have to ride what fits your needs best. I ride with Gold Wings all the time so it is no big deal.
You'll have a lotta extra cash now for road trips... lol Keep the sun on your face.
well actually comes out about even...i figure i can get 17000 for my ride...wing ran 21300.00....one of the main reason for switching up is the hp/tq....i could spend 4-5k for heads,jugs,cams & so on...& be close to the 118hp/123tq of the wing....so it comes out close...so i will have plenty left for road trips & boobbie bars with my wife..lol....

I have a 07 Wing, triked with a CSC kit, nice bike for sure, but not as comfortable for ME as the EGC....but the wife loves it.
