Default Leather Tour Pak help

OK RK Custom owners, I need some help. I'm trying to get my wife more comfortable on the bike. Thinking of buying a leather tour pak with wrap around passenger backrest. My question is "Can I put any of the wrap around pads on the leather tour pak or is there just one?" I have checked put the catalog and even asked the dealer, they said only one wrap around pad fit the leather tour pak. Dawg you usually are the parts guru. Can you or anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about all the leather tourpacs but mine opens from rear foward and most plastic ones open to the side. I don't know if this causes interference with the arm rest seatbacks. If you can use a arm rest one with a leather tourpac please let me know which one. I'd like to change mine as well.

If you are referring to the 519 dollar RK tour pak,and mounting an armrest from a King TP on it, the backrest will very likely be too wide for the RK tour pak--if you try it, be sure to post a write-up and pics.

HD does offer a 'premium leather tour pak' that you have probably seen on '06 and '07 SE Ultras--it's in the P&A catalog for 1500 bucks, plus another 319 for the backrest (as part of the "installation kit".)

A far less expensive alternative is a Mutazu aftermarket tour pak with a wrap-around armrest, color-matched to your bike--it is very similar to the RK tour pak in construction (minus the leather/vinyl cover), but opens right to left, instead of front to back.

Good luck with your project/search.
