Spilled gas
I read a previous post about gas shooting out of the tank when filling it up. I thought it was funny. I never did that the five years I owned my previous bike.Last weekI boughta 08 EGC and when I filled it for the first time I kept thinking about that post. I'll be damned if it didn't spray all over my new bike. Is there something about the new 6 gallon tank I should know about?

I dont know if there are any issues with the 6gal tank I feel yer pain. I also got an 08 Electra Glide Classic with about 1K on it and so far about three or four times Ive also sprayed some gas on it and Im careful tryin to fill it up but just want to try to top it off more. The 08 isnt so forgiving in my 05 Road King it also had a little lip and overflow tube that was more forgiving. Im thinkin of buying the Mc Cuff gas fill up yellow sleve? Anyone chime in come on guys we cant be the only **** two??
MAXCUSTODY thats funny yer right keep the nozzle in the tank I do tend to pull it out a little to top it off and thats when she gets mad I mean I get mad!!! then "Damn MF" the cussin starts!! it happens! Bill
