So thanks to everyone here on the forum I decided to startwrenching on my own bike...Changed all the fluids...Changed out the rear shocks...Installed Thundermax and everything seems to be working okay. I bought a heat gun to check tempsandthe rear cylinder is always hotter...How come ?? Thanks in advance !!

 

It is simple It gets less air flow.

It is more enclosed.

I only know because I just read about this in a Magazine.

Thanks...Less air flow, well DUH !! Just seems to simple and falls under the category of...Why didn'tI think of that !!

 

Sometimes you can't see the forest through the trees..........lol.......

 

Think about going with some Tru-Duals, I never checked mine with a heat gun but the hair on my legs is growing back now.

I'm poor so I did the Fullsac Conversion.

 

Give your rear cylinder a little richer fuel mixture and it will run a little cooler but like it was said, there is less air to cool things off.

 

That's a question I ask myself almost every time I read some of the posts on this forum, especially the DIY ones.
