I had 2 and would not get another. It worked OK but the lighting was so bad that it was almost useless at night. When I went from the standard black face gauge to the silver face gage I even modified the compass housing to improve the lighting. It was better but still was not as bright as the other gauges. I finally went back to the air temp gauge and bought the Road Tech Quest GPS
One of the display options on it just shows direction. And I have been very happy with it.
On the FLHTP - its like a standard- you only get the TACH, Speedo, Fuel, & VOLT. I have two empty spots on each side of the radio box. What can I put there besides a Oil pressure gauge?
A Whistler Crusader in dash radar dector.. Awesome.. and keeps me out of trouble..
Also considering taking my compass out. Erratic operation, sometime 180 out. Looks impressive. Only marginally better than a piece of junk. Very disappointed that HD would market it.
