I don't believe its the exhaust, maybe a place to keep a spare tire, definately a conversation piece.

Kinda like the guys with the lowriders, not my cup of tea, but a lot of work, imagination, and some decent fab skills. If it makes him happy isn't that what the hobby is about?

Well the first one was a 1959 HD with a custom hack, it was only used on the first season. The second season, and on was a Yamaha Catalina 250 with a side car.
I know I am a geek, but I helped a friend build a bat mobile,and he now makes a living at it.
