Default Lowering Question

I have short legs and ride an Ultra EG. What is the best way to get an inch or two lower?

Profile® Low Touring Shocks

Lower the seat height of your Touring model without compromising the ride. The Profile® Low Touring Shocks have been revalved for a comfortable ride while lowering the seat height by up to 3/4". The kit maintains the air adjustability feature of the stock shocks.

54631-02B

Fits '97-later Touring models (except FLHRSE3/4). Does not lower FLHRS or FLHX models.

MSRP US $275.95

I bought some rear lowering blocks off ebay for about 60 bucks. Lowered the rear about 2".

I have installed the rear lowering shocks, the HD front fork lowering kit, and had my seat reworked by mean city cycles. Of them all the seat made the biggest difference. Allen took the sides of my seat in where you straddle it when standing up, lowered it by an inch and moved me up toward the handle bars by an inch. That was the best investment of them all. I now have 11,500+ miles on it with no complaints on the seat modification.

Checked out Mean City Cycles. Looks like a great service and looks pretty reasonable. Did you have the passenger part of the seat modified at all?

I have the same problem. Mean city looks like the cheapest way to go to me also. I'll have to schedule mine to be done this winter.

Are they backed up that long or is that just your decision not to have the down time during riding season?
