Just replaced the rear with a blackwall this go around. Can't see it with the bags on anyway! I am torn on the front tire though, I do like the stripe when it is clean.

just replaced my white stripes with blackwalls....like the looks of my bike much better......some bikes look really good with white stripes and some with wide whites, just depends on the bike

Personally I like the single white stripe on my bike. I put the bike on the jack when I'm washing it, spin the tires and use Whestley's White Wall Cleaner and a brush and they come out looking as good as new. No problem at all.

My King came with the thin whitewalls and I counldn't stand them on it. However, I couldn't see replacing a perfectly good set of tires, so I decided I would switch to blackwalls once I needed new tires. 5000 miles later and they were barley showing any wear...1500 miles later of smoking starts and sliding stops andoops I need new tires. Oh well, had to replace them. Went with the black walls andI like them much better.
