Default Fairing for FLHRC

Suggestions for aftermarket removable Fairings for 08 Road King Classic? Pics if you have them, prices would be helpful too... I know this will sound very strange, but I really don't want a radio or sound system in it, storage would be fine with me. No need for more guages either. I'd like it painted to match the bike.

Thanks!

I bought an 07 flhrc and decided that I also wanted a fairing. The dealership sold one with all the stereo stuff but being olderit didn't really appeal to me because ifI wanted to listen music I would do it at home or in my truck, not much on music anyway as an older dudeI like my peace. So after looking at the possiblities I concluded that the Kenny Day Fairing was just whatI needed. I found the least expensive way to buy it was on e-bay compared to buying it from the manufactuer. If you go to the Kenny Day web site you can see a variety of different examples. I had mine painted just to be sure it was glossy enough to match the cycle, some people might not go that far but I wasn't disappointed. Take a look and see what you think.

I went with the Dragonfly fairing. In fact just got a call from Joyce today. She was confirming the placement of the pinstriping. I think the customer service at this place rocks. I liked the looks and many people hear recommended them. No pics yet as it should be here sometime next week.

just installed a tsukayu/firebagger ( search either name, tsukayu is the manufacture, firebaggers is the name the us distributor goes by) on my 03 rk great buy, probably the most bang for the buck. as far as a radio you might want 1 later I didn't think I would but glad I bought mine radio ready, add set of cheap speakers and cheap radio to fill the hole and I bet you will be upgrading both at a later date

as far as the aftermarket faring market goes IMHO all the major brands will do the job it comes down to features and looks. most will closely resemble a stock flh faring from the front you have to decide what you want to be staring at. the one major thing you might want tolook at is if it first will use a stock HD windshield then what other accessories will it use with out modification. some of the knock off's of the major brands you see on ebay use proprietary windshields. break one on the road your out of luck
